Simon Sometimes is a late coming musical explorer bent on forging his own path through the musical jungle.
Based in Devon, England, Simon Sometimes continues to write new material and perform locally. In rare forays beyond ‘The Shire’ he has appeared in London at The Camden Club, in Bristol at The Golden Lion and, most recently, at The Green Gathering Festival in Chepstow (which was epic!).
He has appeared on stage at The Leadmill, Sheffield and internationally at the Newcastle Ukulele Festival, New South Wales and at the National Folk Festival, Canberra, Australia.
Simon Sometimes has an agenda which is about promoting a balanced ecology. Keeping things ’local’ is important to him so he is focused very much on his local area and community.
Deceptively simple melodies weave together with politics, philosophy, the environment and, of course, love.
Melodic and mournful in equal measure, this musical cocktail has a bit of a kick.
